Moccamaster 60th “Diamond” Anniversary Campaign
As client-side creative director, I partnered with the external agency and production studio to shape the campaign’s concept and visual direction. I guided the internal team through strategy and reviews, and led photography and video production for the “Full-Spectrum” follow-up campaign.
For Moccamaster’s 60th anniversary, we set out to create a moment worthy of the brand’s legacy. The ultra-limited “Diamond Edition” KBGV coffee brewer came with a lifetime warranty and a subtle sparkle finish, but little else to set it apart. The challenge was to make it feel unforgettable. Drawing from the elegance of the classic “A diamond is forever” campaign, we framed the brewer as a symbol of timeless design. Its silhouette has remained virtually unchanged for six decades, becoming a fixture in kitchens around the world. Working with agency partner Grady Britton, we leaned into a dark, refined aesthetic inspired by luxury timepieces, allowing the shimmer of the stainless finish to take center stage. Each unit shipped with a hand-numbered proof-of-authenticity card in a hard case, reinforcing its place as a collector’s piece.
When the launch wrapped, I built on the momentum with a secondary “Full-Spectrum” campaign, inspired by the rainbow refractions of light through a diamond. This extended the story, celebrating Moccamaster’s range of colorways and reinforcing the idea that the brewer delivers the complete spectrum of coffee flavor. Bright, monochromatic styling gave the brand fresh energy and helped connect with younger audiences who value personalization and heritage craftsmanship in equal measure.
