A Grand Expedition

Chown Hardware

Chown Hardware wanted to make a splash with the announcement of their new showroom located in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, WA, and although they already have a showroom in neighboring Bellevue, the clients wanted to show how this 140-year-old company was venturing into new territories to offer their services outside of the Portland metro area. To differentiate the announcement and generate buzz, we leaned into our shared love of Wes Anderson to tell the story, engaging in an extensive study of the cinematography, pacing, typography, music, and color palettes of one of the most profound auteurs in cinema today. Symphony Is My Source

Oregon Symphony

To increase excitement and ticket sales for the upcoming classical season, Watson Creative’s strategy was to highlight local tastemakers and influencers in the city and connect them back to the creative spirit that courses through the symphony. This video, one of a three-part series, features former NFL quarterback and Oregon Duck hero, Dennis Dixon, as he connects the work ethic that drives him to the philosophy and music of German composer Gustav Mahler. Produced at Watson Creative.

Uplift: Finding Home

Youth Villages

Isolated. Uncertain. Out of control. This is the everyday reality for thousands of kids and teens in the foster care system across the country. Without the stability of a home and family, having the right support and resources can be the difference in walking two opposite paths in life. Youth Villages provides this support and services to more than 25,000 young people every year. With an upcoming fundraiser, Youth Villages partnered with Watson Creative to produce a video telling the story of Donovan Ford, an Olympic weightlifter who grew up in foster care and found family in an unlikely place.

LUFC Kit Sizzle Reel

Lane United Football Club

For the debut of their 2021/2022 home and away kits, USL 2 side Lane United FC wanted a launch video that felt rooted in the club’s identity and supporter culture. The Red Aces—an independent, inclusive group known for bringing color, noise, and personality to every match—became the focus. The sizzle reel followed members on their walk to the stadium, proudly wearing the new kits, as anticipation built for kickoff. Without a single shot of gameplay, the piece channeled the energy, pride, and community that define what it means to be part of the Lane United family.

A Sustainable Way To Grow

Indie Hops

On the rolling fields of Goschie Farms, grower Gayle Goschie and DEYA Brewing Company’s Theo Freyne share how the future of hops is being rewritten. Through the Indie Hops Flavor Project, growers, brewers, and plant breeders are developing new hop genotypes that can thrive in a changing climate—naturally drought-tolerant and resistant to pests, mildew, and mold. The conversation reveals how sustainability and innovation go hand in hand, ensuring the next generation of hops delivers bold flavor while protecting the craft beer industry for years to come.
